Default Character selection screen UI / problem

Since one doesn't appear to be in the "Ideas list " either :

I have GW, and all extensions. Because those accounts were activated I have 8 character slots.

Even though I use only 4of the 8 character slots I always see 3 of my 4 character portraits when I log in, and always have to scroll left, to pick the first one. (and I'm on a wide-screen )

This could be considered a bug depending on your point of view...

I would suggest either

- to scroll by default to the first used slot

- resize it all down, since I'm seeing 6, I expect 8 portraits would be still a nice size and it would be really awesome to have them all in sight when I log in

- mind, this is annoying partly because the scroll behaviour is slow.
Because of the way the character portraits are displayed I often though it would work very well like the Mac Dock without creating new graphics for it,
eg:

Perhaps this can work with more than 8 character slots too, make them as small as needed, but the portraits zoom when you point at them.

Thanks for making such an excellent game.

Have you tried changing the character order? That would probably put them all together.

Reordering? How? After searching forums it appears that you can not do this unless using some obscure work around by creating and deleting characters. Also reordering might do just that and still leave me with the first occupied slot always out of the screen when I log in.

That's weird. For me, it appears with the last used character.

A) When you log in GW it chooses the last used character.
B)On the very top left side, there is "sort", play with it.

Ahh thank you! Funny how you can miss options on a widescreen monitor (tell me I'm not the only one )

Anyway, I had it set on "Pvp/Rp" and after changing the option, even switching back to Pvp/Rp, the 4 characters now appear on screen.
